Our Celebration venue

Crested Butte Mountain Wedding Garden

Our Ceremony/Reception (as well as the Farewell Brunch) venue is at the Crested Butte Mountain Wedding Garden, which is up on Mt. Crested Butte approximately 3.5 miles/8 minutes from downtown Crested Butte.

Where to stay:

There are two main areas to stay: Downtown Crested Butte or Mt. Crested Butte.

You can get anywhere in Crested Butte (including the venue) in less than 10 minutes, so you'll never be far from the action. We will have shuttles running to and from the venue from both downtown and Mt. Crested Butte.

  • Downtown Crested Butte: You'll be walking distance to all of the local bars and restaurants. This is our personal preference while staying in Crested Butte due to the walkability and amount of things to go.
  • Mt. Crested Butte: You'll be closer to the resort and our venue. Likely, you'll find cheaper and fancier accommodations on the mountain.

Downtown CB Airbnb Wishlist

Airbnb

Elk Ave. is the main street of CB, and anywhere downtown will be walking distance.

Note: Please hold off on booking an Airbnb or VRBO until closer to December/January, as many properties don't list until 6-8 months out. The properties available right now are fairly expensive, so we encourage everyone to wait a few months until inventory increases!

VRBO

While similar to Airbnb, VRBO does tend to have more listings at lower prices. Definitely worth checking out, if you're going the vacation rental route.

Cristiana Guesthaus

A cozy, European-style lodge in downtown CB. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need (full bathroom, etc), and they serve a basic continental breakfast every morning. There is a hot tub, sauna, and deck for lounging, and it is within a 5 minute walk to everything in downtown.  We've stayed here before, and our only comment would be that there is not individual AC per room, and you rely on the central AC for the building which can be warm in the summer. That said, each room has a large fan, and upon opening the windows in the evening, we didn't have any issues.
